A fun-loving couple from Hong Kong + two great outdoor locations = an entertaining and successful Jeju engagement photo session. A couple of weeks before Patty and Raymond came to Jeju from Hong Kong, Patty messaged my Facebook page and asked whether I could photograph their pre-wedding photos. She told me that something had come…
Wow! I love the photos from gallery two the best. We will have to check out these tea fields when we finally make it to Jeju! Great work!
Beautiful photos! I’m sure the couple are just too happy with that output. But you’re right, the focus of the photo shoot isn’t there. What did the couple say about not having the ring on any of the photos?
Look at all the green!!! Coming from New England, most engagement photos I’ve come across are always set near the ocean so its refreshing to see photos with that much greenery. I’m especially in love with the silhouette photos of the two. But the ones in gallery one where they’re taken from an angle that shows the rows and rows of tea are really breathtaking as well! I love how you made these a bit more playful too. It really highlights the joy of getting to spend the rest of your life with that one person and you really captured John’s devotion to Lucy. Wishing these two the very best!
Thanks Izzy! Having a couple who is playful (and similar to my personality) makes things go much smoother during a shoot.
Thanks Wendy! Because John is a friend, it’s no big deal that I didn’t get any shots with the ring. They will more formal photography in Taiwan so I’m sure they’ll get some ring shots then.
The photography by the tree is incredible. It shows how beautiful love and romance in a scene we all came from… nature. In any case, your photography is always stunning and I love it a lot! Have you ever seen Outlander? The photos by the rock definitely have an Outlander feel.
These photos are lovely and I think that setting is so unique to Korea! What I’d like to know is…was it not cold? Lucy looks like she’s dressed for summer 😀
Nope, I’ve never seen Outlander but I’ll have to check it out for the comparison. Thanks Gina!
By the end of the evening when it was almost completely dark it was a bit chilly, but actually the weather was quite nice that evening. Lucy said she wasn’t too cold but she may have been lying! We all had a good time though.
I love the last photo in Gallery #2! The silhouette of their heads and arms looked like a heart shape, it looks really great!
Thanks Jia Min! I didn’t notice how it looks like a heart. I’ll have to try that again sometime!
